When the sun is out, no child should be without!

A T-shirt, towel or cosytoes when you're on holiday, anything goes! But, what you really need to avoid the sun is The Orignal UV Protective Buggy Blanket. The Original UV Protective Buggy Blanket is made from a lightweight durable fabric, that is cottony soft and breathable.

The Original UV Protective Buggy Blanket helps protect parts that hoods, canopies and parasols do not. Improving sun protection, blocking up to 98% of harmful rays.

Corey(My son) was the key to my product idea when he was 9 months old. He is very nosy I can only assume and because he cant talk that because of the blurry plastic material he would pull the side up and stick his head out... Watchout there is a lampost head!!
Dads wet t-shirt was not comfortable and easily kicked... he would smile/laugh having heard me say in a silly voice... 'Corey, oh dear!! All messed up'. He thrived on this and continued to kick it off for a reaction until we knotted it round the buggy poles.

'Shade-a-Babe' we tried he hated, and I did not like, mainly due to the lack of fresh circulation/breeze of fresh air and it was dark inside and very enclosed. Good concept, but not practical.
I can't express how light the material is, The product folds very small. The fabric is as thin as and similar to that used to make sun parasols, with a more cottony feel. If you felt and saw the material you would be amazed at how light it is and how much protection it provides.

The blanket fastens to the buggy with velcro, Corey now accepts this and does not mess anymore. I also found a use for it when abroad and in the garden when he is asleep, I pull it up to his chin. So if the sun moves and im reading a magazine, etc. he is covered. Of course you would still use spf 50 suncream, it is not a replacement, I would call it extra peace of mind...
The Original Buggy Blanket is very lightweight amd drapes across the lap and fastens to the Buggy/Pushchair. It can also be fastened at the bottom if required. The fabric provides UPF 30+ protection which is a an excellent addition of protection. It is also shower and wind resistant, good for light breezes on the beach!

The Original Buggy Blanket is universal and will fit most buggies, prams and pushchairs. It has been tested on many ranges including the following ranges:

  • Maclaren, mothercare, chicco

Hoods and parasols do not provide adequate protection- DUE TO THE NATURAL MOVEMENT OF THE SUN.
